Provider Revalidation Deadline Extended To December 31, 2023
This notice only affects providers of GA Medicaid services (such as doctors). It does NOT impact GA Medicaid Members or Beneficiaries of services.

The deadline for Georgia Medicaid providers to revalidate their enrollment data has been extended to December 31, 2023.

During the recent national Public Health Emergency (PHE) provider revalidation requirements were waived. That PHE ended on May 11, 2023 and revalidation requirements again became effective. Providers whose revalidation is past due as of 12/31/2023, will be subject to suspension on 1/1/2024 if they have not completed revalidation by then.

GAMMIS Web Portal Overview

The Georgia Medicaid Management Information System (GAMMIS) serves as the primary web portal for Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids® and all related waiver programs administered by the Department of Community Health's Medical Assistance Plans Division. The GAMMIS portal provides timely communications, data exchange and self-service tools for members and providers with both secure and public access areas.

Members of the public can obtain general information, find a provider and learn more about various Medical Assistance Plans.

Medical Assistance Plan Members can use their ID number and password to enter a secure area to check the status of their enrollment or a request for prior approval.

Medical Assistance Plan Providers can access a wealth of information including notices, manuals, fee schedules, forms, training and more. Providers can also enroll to become a participating provider using the Enrollment Wizard, which includes the ability to track the application status. Once enrolled in Georgia's Medical Assistance Plans, providers can use their Provider ID number and Personal Identification Number (PIN) to enter a secure area of the portal to access claims and remittance information as well as confirmation of Medical Assistance Plan member eligibility.

Member and Provider Surveys are conducted from time to time for process and service improvement.
